Gerald Agnew can empathize with his clients and that enables him to be a more effective representative of their interests in court. The son of an electrician and the oldest of seven children, Mr. Agnew learned about responsibility and developed his work ethic early in life.

He worked a grueling factory job to put himself through school, so he understands the plights of his injured working-class clients.

Humble, approachable, and understanding, Mr. Agnew is heralded for his kind demeanor by everyone who works with him. But Mr. Agnew is also a persistent, thorough, and highly effective attorney. He has been recognized by his peers as one of California's most respected lawyers and has been honored on separate occasions as Trial Lawyer of the Year and as Plaintiff Trial Lawyer of the Year. He has worked hard to help individuals as well as the legal community at large.

After earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Agnew went on to law school at Southwestern University. He graduated cum laude and was in the top ten in his class. He first worked with a defense firm but found that he really wanted to help the injured. He switched to representing plaintiffs and eventually started his own firm with partner Bruce Brusavich. The two have had tremendous success helping personal injury victims and their families.

Mr. Agnew is very active in the legal community. He is a regular lecturer on the subject of continuing legal education. He is also an active member of many organizations, including: Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC); Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA); American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA); Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA); South Bay Bar Association (SBBA); Los Angeles County Bar Association; Trial Lawyers for Public Justice (TLPJ); and the American Inns of Court (South Bay Chapter). He has held important leadership positions, including President of LATLA, in many of these organizations.

Known for his honesty, dedication to clients, and legal prowess, Mr. Agnew is prepared to help you win your case. His experience, integrity, and record of success are unparalleled.
