Join partner Bruce Brusavich at the 2015 Annual Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) Convention, the nation's largest trial lawyers' convention, on September 3 in Las Vegas, NV.
In Howell v. Hamilton Meats, the California Supreme Court held that an injured plaintiff can only recover the amount of damages paid by the medical carrier, not the amount initially billed by the medical provider. Mr. Brusavich's presentation will examine the impact the Howell decision has on medical liens.
CAALA is a legal professional organization comprised of more than 2,800 members. Through education and training, CAALA focuses its efforts on promoting professionalism, ethics, and the highest quality of legal representation.
