Partner Gerald Agnew, along with Criminal Defense Lawyer Michael Norris and Retired Police Chief Dan Dreiling, addressed the dangers of distracted driving, alcohol consumption at home, and driving on a provisional license at Chadwick School in Palos Verdes, CA on March 11, 2015.
The presentation demonstrated the startling statistics regarding teen driving deaths due to distracted driving and cellphone use, as well as the parent's responsibility to regulate provisional license rules. Mr. Agnew shared personal experiences from the civil perspective; Mr. Norris explained the criminal risks of offering alcohol to minors, and Mr. Dreiling spoke to the parents about law enforcement regarding these topics.
More than 200 parents from the surrounding area were in attendance.
