La Crescenta-Montrose, CA (August 3, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, two people were killed and another was left critically injured following a wrong-way collision that took place early Sunday morning, August 2nd. The fatal crash happened at around 2:40 a.m. in the La Crescenta-Montrose neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The CHP said that an unspecified vehicle was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of the I-210 Freeway when it struck another vehicle head-on near Ocean View Boulevard. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene where two people were pronounced deceased. One other victim was transported to a nearby hospital where they are currently listed in critical condition.
At this time, few details have been reported and the identities of the victims are being withheld. Authorities with the CHP are investigating the events that led to this incident.
