Los Angeles, CA (August 15, 2020) – On Thursday morning, August 13th, authorities responded to a fatal pedestrian collision that took place in Los Angeles. It happened early at around 1:44 a.m. on West Venice Avenue.
According to police officials, the victim was attempting to cross the street in the 6000 block of West Venice Boulevard when they were struck by a car and found lying in the roadway after the collision. Emergency crews arrived at the crash site where they pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene where they cooperated with law enforcement. At this time, the events that led to this incident remain under investigation.
