Moorpark, CA (August 21, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was hit and killed by a motor vehicle early on Thursday morning, August 20th. The fatal accident was reported at around 5:00 a.m. at California Highway 23 and Janss Road in Moorpark.
Police officers received a call concerning the collision and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene. First responders arrived to find the victim down in the middle of the highway. The individual was severely injured and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
