South Los Angeles, CA (August 14, 2020) – Several children and adults were injured in a collision that took place on Wednesday night, August 12th, in South Los Angeles. It happened on the 110 Freeway near West Adams Boulevard at around 8:00 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the freeway, resulting in emergency responders at the scene. Two people were treated for injuries at the crash site and a total of seven others were transported to area hospitals.
Four victims, identified as an 8-month old girl, a 3-year-old girl, a 6-year-old girl, and a 27-year-old woman have been listed in critical condition. The other three victims who were hospitalized, identified as an 11-month-old girl, a 10-year-old girl, and a 34-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The events that led to this incident remain under investigation.
