Gardena, CA (December 07, 2020) – A man suffered fatal injuries following a multi-vehicle accident in the city of Gardena on Wednesday, December 2nd.
Initial reports state that, at about 10:30 a.m., 64-year-old Thomas Cary Davis Jr., a resident of Los Angeles, was traveling northbound along Van Ness Avenue in a Dodge Ram pick-up truck, just north of 139th Street. For reasons that have yet to be determined, his Ram collided with the rear-end of the vehicle in front of him.
An officer from the Gardena Police Department said that a third vehicle was also involved and took damage as well.
Davis was transported via ambulance to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He was pronounced dead a short while later.
No details have been released concerning the post-crash medical conditions of anyone else involved in this incident.
