Sherman Oaks, CA (July 6, 2020) – Two people were hurt, one critically, following a traffic collision involving a rental truck on Monday morning, July 6th. Authorities said that it happened along the 101 Freeway in Sherman Oaks at around 8:08 a.m.
According to officials, a rental truck and three other vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of the freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene where they arrived and extricated one female victim who was pinned in the wreckage. She was transported to a nearby hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
One other unidentified victim was also taken to a local hospital but authorities have not verified their condition. The events that led to this incident are under investigation.
