Wilmington, CA (June 25, 2020) – Two people were killed after a tractor-trailer struck a car from behind in the Wilmington area of Los Angeles. The fatal collision was reported on Thursday morning, June 25th, near 2000 East Pacific Coast Highway.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a big rig truck rear-ended a car in front of the Marathon Los Angeles Refinery near East O Street. First responders arrived at the scene where officials with the LAFD worked to assist the victims. Two people inside the car were pronounced deceased at the crash site.
At this time, no further details have been released. The events that led to this incident are currently under investigation.
